Being a Navy veteran, I have always loved NCIS. The original one kept to the NCIS mandate, investigating Navy crime. Los Angeles I couldn't get into because what they did was only partly military oriented. New Orleans was a completely different animal. The character of Dwayne Pride was always hard to stomach because he thinks he knows better than anyone and the show's writers always make that true when in reality it is not. We have rules for a reason. The other issue is going to other countries to investigate or capture, that is a big NO NO!! And the idea that this particular small branch of NCIS would have so much contact with literal earth shattering things, like the Ebola like virus, nuclear weapons, russian spies. Once in a while might be okay but it's all the time. As if the writers can't come up with anything more realistic. Couldn't watch it when it was on and it's a little harder now.
