Unlike Band of Brothers there is little time spent getting to know the men featured. Realistically not everyone makes it even to episode 5, but you feel little for their loss, which is not what I expected or wanted. I’m feeling flat, the air sequences are all the same, slight obsession with air sickness and ball turrets. It’s worth waiting to binge watch it with a 7 day free Apple TV pass, but otherwise not. I’m disappointed, even more so than I was with The Pacific.

Started well enough, but by the end…well expect another series because the end is not the end. In a word: disapointing.
