A rather colorful disappointment from a director that I have admired in the past. Shyamalan had no clever ploys, no dramatic twists. Instead, the film mocked biblical text in an effort to draw sympathy for a pair of homosexual men who had an adopted daughter. Painting traditional or conservative views in the same negative light that the film portrays God, for no discernable reason. Another agenda driven garbage pile trying to pass itself off as art, which seems to be all the rage these days. Small wonder that Amazon has drastically narrowed anyone's ability to write a review. Sad.
