A series with love, sex, emotional maturity, and history. Add beautiful costumes and scenery makes this the best Bridgerton series yet.
The first series was more fun because of the witty dialogue, but this series was more satisfying because it showed loving an imperfect person.
I kept thinking about John Legend's song during many of the scenes. "Love your curves and all your edges - all your perfect imperfections." I thought of people in relationships with people who have long term illnesses or permanent disabilities, and how strong we can be though we may not think so.
Well done, shondaland! Thank you for the love and history lessons in this beautiful series.
