Before we were old enough to worry about Coronavirus, war, and so many other things... there was this. Looking at race cars that we couldn't afford, whilst listening to jazz masterpieces of a Saturday morning - with not a worry on our minds. Life was good. I'm 17 now - I got this game on my 8th birthday. How time flies, huh?

Brother 1 is an amazing film, that I had the opportunity to watch with English subtitles. It is a perfect embodiment of how Russia was in the 1990s - but also a perfect representation of how brotherly love can manifest itself. This allows it to have a deep story, whilst being packed with action and story. Each and every character is very personable - even minor characters like the German, and Krugliy is a great villain who we are made to dislike and be against. Yet at the same time, this film shows us that murder does not come without consequences - and that Danila Bagrov is also human, with human relationships.
