Not as exciting as other classic Disney stories, including the more recent Encanto, which I loved every aspect of, especially the music, colorful culture, etc. i wouldn’t show this film in my classroom at all, due to its controversial openly gay character. It is rated PG, and this one should be up to parents to choose. Wouldn’t take young kids to see it either. Because only a small percentage of the population is lgbtq (3-7% or so), its not a topic I would wish to address until they are about 12-13 or so. But again, that choice should be up to parents.

It gets slow at times, very monotonous conversation, not enough music. Drag onnnnnnnnnnnn….

I liked the previous two hosts, Gwen Ifil and Robert Costa very much. I think the new host, Yamiche Alcindor, did a great job for her first night, and look forward to her new perspective. I really like the brief 30 minute weekly news coverage.
