Not the worst, but it feels... Off. If this movie were a highschool play, I'd think it was fantastic. From the obvious green screens, flat acting, budget set design and strange "fictitious scenarios" it just comes off as some kind of poor budget trip. I don't feel as though this movie brought any more light to Nikolai Tesla than what a short mention in highschool did. Instead I just left feeling, confused and disappointed. It failed as a historical piece due to strange 4th wall breaks, and although the song near the end is very related to the reality of the situation, Ethan Hawke is not the ideal singer for it.
