**Light spoliers** This game is so amazing! I wasn't sure how I would like it since i bought it on a whim, but I am so pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy it. The graphics are beautifully detailed down to the last blade of grass.The game play is fun and I like how you can either go stealth or attack your enemies head on. Im more into stealth and and the game does not dissapoint. I thoughly enjoyed it!! I like the upgrades to all the armor and weapons, the long ranged weapons are particularly great, my disappoint favorite is the flaming arrows you can fire to kill enemies. The character develpment in this game is amazing and one of the best parts of the game for me. When doing side missions with Yuna and Lady Masako you get so much backstory and you feel for those characters losses. I love the side mission with Yuriko, that one is very heart warming and made me cry a bit in after o had completed the mission. The characters are ones that are memorable in my opinion and I loved every moment of this game. The story and characters are beautifully written. The story is engaging and I cant remeber the last I binge played a game before this one. I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite games. Its SOOOO good.

Spoilers Ahoy!!! Most of how I feel about the game has already been said though these numerous reviews. First off not sure why people are giving this game 5/5 stars. It all comes down to personal opinion but the writing was so bad how could you give this game an excellent review. The biggest issue I had with the game was the character development. All the development that Naughty Dogs worked so hard to accomplish for Joel and Ellie's character is literally gone. This game turns Ellie into a murderer with no clear purpose. Supposedly her purpose was to kill Abby and avenge Joel, but all that gets lost in translation when she goes on a murderous rampage killing all who stand in her way. In the first LOU Ellie was kind and there was purpose to the choices she made. This one is a free for all. Honestly; I didn't mind playing as Abby solely because her story was much more interesting(even though there were plot holes). I didnt ever sympathize with her nor did I ever really like her character. This isnt becasue she killed Joel, it's how she killed him and how forced it felt when we were supposed to empathize with her. ND didnt write her part well. Whether or not the gamer felt that Joel was a beloved character or not, he was an established one that the player was used to and shouldnt have been killed an hour into the game. None of the characters in the game that were introduced were memorable. I didnt really get upset when any of them died, well maybe except for Mel(only cause she was pregnant). I was honestly more upset by being forced to kill the dogs. The best part of the game was the past cutscenes between Joel and Ellie. Her Birthday Surprise was very sweet and I got a bit teary eyed. I loved seeing the relationship between Joel and Ellie progress. The last thing I'll say is when written well a revenge story can be good. However; I think ND should have gone a different direction with the story. Why not have Abby and her crew chase Joel, Tommy and Ellie. And what would really be interesting if another immune person was introduced. ND you did a serious disservice to your fans by creating this game, I feel as if I wasted 24 hours of my life I wont get back.
