I bought the hard back book for my daughter when she was between 5-6 yrs old. I gave it to her when we’ve got into the car after coming out of the bookstore. She got so angry and told me I was nasty. I told her to give me the book and I will return it to the bookstore while we’re still here; her reply was ‘No - I want to read it first!’ That was 48 years ago, a husband and two sons later, She still has the book. It was well written and illustrations are so cute. Thank you for writing it.
