I love the original film and probably watched the tape every week as a child. Needless to say I’ve been waiting for this series for a long time. So it’s disappointing the teenager Kit accent is American like how can the parents and everyone around that annoying character Kit have different accents than her. Like it’s so off putting and makes her acting feel terrible and annoying. There are times she tries to have the accent everyone else has but it’s not consistent and her acting is distracting to the whole story. It’s cringe! Once I ignore Ruby Crews acting (eww) (why couldn’t she train for an accent, it’s sloppy) then I can see the magical world but boy it’s hard to get away from that.
