I understand that there are a lot of people who are disappointed in this production as it isn't faithful to the original anime, but for someone like myself who doesn't have that as a frame of reference then it is seen as a totally fresh concept and in that light, to me, I think it's one of the best productions of any genre that I have seen in a very long time. It's as if they delved into a corner of Tarantino's mind to where here keeps his ideas under the heading sci-fi... Such a pity that it got canned after only one session.
