It's fictional in parts. But the series most certainly carries historical value. It's a good exposure to life and times in mid-19th century Bengal and a whiff of the early years of Bengal Renaissance. Worth watching. All actors are brilliant in their portrayal of respective roles, especially Ditipriya and Gaurav.
