I was just a child when my parents watched it on TV. I was usually sheilded from any form of TV violence, real or fiction, but they let me watch this. I didn't understand why at the time, and it certainly gave me nightmares, but it all make sense now. As an adult myself, I can watch violence on TV, Online, NetFlix etc, and I can process it like most people (fiction and real) but anything regarding Germany between 1933 and 1945 makes my blood freeze to ice.
