I find the movie adaptation of ‘It Ends With Us’ disappointing because it seems to glamorize sensitive issues rather than address them with the seriousness they deserve. The main character’s name, Lily Blossom Bloom, feels overly contrived, and the way the men are portrayed as conventionally attractive undermines the gravity of the story. It’s frustrating to see a narrative that could be powerful reduced to something that feels more like a romanticized fantasy than a meaningful exploration of real-life challenges.
