A game that isn't worth $80. First hour of the game is nothing but modern day politics injected into the fuedal Japanese setting. The writing is terrible, the voice actors sound like AI. Typical Western game, that is full of modern day slop. The switching between the two characters feels clunky, and the "invisible" walls is getting old, quick. The art style is really strange, rather then feeling Japanese, it feels like a generic Asian world. The PC version is full of bugs, and is very poorly optimized. My character constantly falls through the map, and world, and the launcher often freezes and crashes on startup. It's 2025, I want to play a single player game, that launches. Instead of another clunky launcher, that promotes microtransactions for armor, etc. In 2 hours of play time, I have spent almost half of that constantly restarting the game due to crashes. ** edited ** I gave up trying, I will be refunding this in the refund window, game is unplayable.

What a fun game! Why can't more developers make games that are actually fun? I don't want a preachy game lecturing me about politics, I play games to relax and be entertained. Developers take note, Split Fiction is fun and has so many cool mechanics.

After Monster Hunter Worlds, we finally have another excellent entry. I have been playing since the 3Ds, and Wii entries, and this experience is streamlined with many quality of life features.

Another game studio gone to trash. I paid extra for early access and what a disappointment this game was. The developer claims it is an updated Skyrim. No, not a fair comparison, as Skyrim is at least playable. I paid extra for early access and the game crashes constantly. I tried different solutions on forums, and even today have had no luck fixing the crashes. Why offer a game, at a premium price, if it doesn't even play? The game is pretty, but in a weird fornite/Pixar looking way, similar to Veilguard, cartoony NPCs that look like mannnequins with awkward facial expressions. The towns look pretty, until you realize they are similar to the pre rendered backgrounds of N64 games, like Ocarina of Time. Doors to buildings don't open, NPCs are sparce, and have no reaction to you stealing from them at all. In Skyrim, a game released in 2011 you can interact with towns, and pretty much every object in them. Avowed was supposed to be the next Skyrim, but it lacks any of the features of a much older game. The combat is the only good feature, when my game doesn't crash. I had hoped there would be a fix now that full release was out on the 18th. But, alas, the game is still bugged. I have 20 hours in this game, and will be refunding it. Don't waste your money, or time on this broken mess
