A complex though gripping story of murder and espionage set against the backdrop of wartime London. Well researched and written in an easy-to-read style, this is a remarkable read that I found hard to put down. Has to be one of the best tales of this genre of story-telling. Mark Ellis has, in modern parlance, nailed it.
