Definitely the best series I have seen in a long time. It is an incredibly honest portrayal of lifelong love and intimacy between two men in the midst of political and personal repression.
Everyone should watch this series- commit to a Showtime subscription for a month!

This is a groundbreaking book- a great companion piece, yet also a contrasting book, to Sissy by Jacob Tobias. Everyone should read this-perhaps then we would start moving towards a more accepting and tolerant society. Congratulations to Jeff Garvin for creating such a brave character as narrator of an unflinchingly bold young adult novel!
