The love between rumi and Vicky was innocent and Robbie could have been jealous of this because he did not got it so far. Or may be he was heart broken from his past relationship, so that's why he was desperate to marry rumi even after knowing that she loves somebody else, because he wanted to break their relationship too. As mentioned in the movie he was a banker, so he(Robbie)did his own tricks. And Vicky was less sensible and not responsible at all so he(Robbie)used this tactic to woo rumi. And rumi' love was not true at all for Vicky, she rejected him just because he was not financially stable. In the whole movie Robbie played as ram ji to be good in the eyes of rumi but he was not. Vicky was the innocent guy but was not financially stable. That was his negative point. And rumi could not decide whether she should go for true love or for a responsible person whom she does not love at all but he is responsible. The songs are amazing and all the characters played their roles with honesty. Really a worth watching movie, not just one time.
