After all these years I still honestly think the title should be - Coming of Age of Megan Reed.
How can one be so self-centred? The very first incident at her work place where she encounters Hannah's father should have been the catalyst of it all but no one even asked why the father was there, why he cried out "she is not dead", why she never talked about these small details. She then encountered strange things that she had only witnessed while there - and guess what? She gets self cantered and assumes it's about her and does not speak up. Like talk to the security tell them "look I have been witnessing this.., can you check maybe CCTV or anything"; ask the police why the father was there; alert the police to these details you saw; maybe the father knew a proper background of why Hannah became possessed; and her powers ??? What's up with that?? How can something with no background be soo strong without any notion of where it came from?? Arggg
Honestly it pissed me off so bad. Such wasted potential is unforgivable
It had so much potential, my God I could see a second movie had this one been executed properly. They could have made her some sort of an expert in dealing with these situations in future instalments. Her passing her knowledge to new employees. It's like even that job at that morgue was frowned upon by the actual story creators.
