I applaud Sly for showing us that men "of a certain age" can be sexy and tough. Actors are free to choose whatever character they want to play regardless if it is age appropriate or meets some silly body stereotype. As long as they continue to entertain us (and Sly certainly does!), then they should live their best life and play the characters they choose. It probably wouldn't have worked if he tried to play Rocky or Rambo at this age but the premise of Tulsa King is a Capo that was just released from prison after 25 years. What is the guy going to do but get back in the game?! I think this is just fantastic scripting. Thank you, Sly!!
