Spent an entire hour going nowhere. It lacks the essence of a movie, resembling an incessant loop of the "dum ta na na" obsession seen in Indian serials. This film mirrors the style of Indian TV shows, dedicating a full episode to showcasing someone walking with constant ups and downs and people's reactions. The two stars are solely for the camerawork; however, I'd give 1 star for the storytelling, dialogue and direction. My expectations were high, but from start to intermission, all we witness is Prabas walking back and forth. It's recommended to watch it at home to skip about 2 hours of the movie. It doesn't come close to KGF. The entire story, which could be told in 3 to 5 minutes, is unnecessarily stretched into a 3-hour display of showmanship.
Shruti Hassan's character was embarrassing and a disgrace to women. She seemed like the most unnecessary addition, and the story could have easily done without her. I hope the directors read this comment and avoid casting women in roles that portray them as foolish and solely for to be taken advantage of which south movies seems to enjoy the most. It appears that in South and Bollywood, women are often cast in roles that depict them as victims of assault or portray them as helpless and foolish.
