*MIGHT HAVE SPOILER* Coming from a person who grew up watching Scooby doo, and now an adult who rewatches Scooby doo as a comfort show daily. Found this movie VERY disappointing. The way they added modern day references made it almost too cringy to watch. The characters are terrible and the story line in general just doesn’t make sense. In my opinion they should have at least incorporated more of the older look towards it. At least just the theme song? Overall a huge disappointment. And actually upsetting knowing kids will grow up knowing that as “Scooby doo” HUGE thumbs down.
