Emily Dickinson is one of the great poets in the history. And honestly, the show is a disgrace to portrait her in such a way. The movie might be just funny if it weren't using Emily's name as a cover. I believe in presenting a classic story in a modern version. But this is obliterating the authenticity of the story completely. As I'm a fan of Emily Dickinson, I'm gravely disappointed. I hated their usage of words(the playwright), the score and even the varied accents. No consistency at all!
