Amazing depiction and take on the joker. Making the first movie forcing all of us to unknowingly put a label on a mentally ill man. The second movie making the audience wait for it to be joker and for him to break out and run rampant on the streets. Then in court confessing it’s all a character that he can’t keep playing anymore. Throwing the audience later in the film only for them to be crushed again forcing them to face the reality that we are all just watching a mentally ill man and sharing in his fantasy. The joke is on the audience that the joker was never a person but a label we slap on a mentally ill man.
