This really could have been the makings of a great family holiday movie, but the story line was pretty silly and the use of profanity was definitely unnecessary, not making it family-friendly. I hate that a movie I was looking forward to seeing ended up being somewhat of a disappointment. But I did enjoy the selection of Christmas music classics and the collaboration of Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross.
