I was disappointed. The movie tip toed and hinted around certain aspects of his life and the times he was living in, but left a LOT of holes. If you were not already familiar with some of these themes, it would be easy to get lost in the story telling and come away with a ton of questions. I would have liked to see more about the politics of the times and how that affected his music. Or about the turmoil his group went through. Or more about his family dynamics. Or the inspiration for his music. There were just tiny morsels of these themes and then nothing. And good luck if you're not good at deciphering Jamaican accents and patois. They probably should have had subtitles for those folks. The acting was well done and of course, it was nice hearing the music.
