Takes such guts to do a film like this. Total roasting on the Israeli Government and in a powerful & thought-provoking manner. Takes little time to settle but stick to it as Lapid's strange narration grows on you. In short anyone who hates his own country's politics, Nadav Lapid puts himself in your place, it's exactly what the film is about.

குடிக்கார கணவனோட பிரச்சனைகளை தாங்காம வீட்ட விட்டு ஓடுன ஒரு மனைவியை அப்பாவும், பிள்ளையும் சேர்ந்து பக்கத்து ஊருக்கு போய் திரும்ப அழைச்சுட்டு வர முயற்ச்சி செய்ற சாதாரணமான கதை தான் இது. படத்துல வர வசனங்கள் censor இல்லாம வெளிப்படையா இருந்துச்சு. அப்பா கெரக்டர்ல நடிச்சவரும் ரொம்ப naturalஆன நடிப்ப வெளிப்படுத்தி இருந்தாரு. உண்மையாவே பல கிராமப்புரங்கள நடக்குற குடும்ப பிரிச்சனை தான் இது. முக்கியமா மனைவி, பிள்ளைங்க இதுமாறி ஊருக்கு அடங்காத குடிக்காரங்களுக்கு வாக்கப்பட்டுட்டு தவிக்குற சிக்கல்களை சரியா காட்டிற்காங்க. பெருசா பிடிச்சுதுனு சொல்ல முடியல ஆனா raw and simple-அ எடுத்து இருந்தாங்க, அதுக்காக பார்க்கலாம். படமும் வெரும் 1 hour தான்.

Situated in Belfast at 1969, a city in Northern Ireland, takes us around during a hectic time when the civil war broke out in the streets between the Catholics and the Protestants. It depicts on the aura of the Belfast city through a joint-family trying to survive their way. Mostly it shows around the innocence of a school kid from that family having his nourishing childhood with his Pop, Granny, his school crush and all. Brought an endearing feel into me. The Classic OST was pleasing to the ears and the camera work was picture perfect as well. I'd love to run my way to the theatres if this film was released in here. A beautiful little modern day b/w film to experience for.

Got to love the craze for Mardona in Italy. Some people connect everything to him like the people in our country connect things religiously. Not only Maradona, the film actually takes us through a teenage boy who looks like the Italian version of Timothee Chalamet living his life with his lovely joint family enduring happiness, searching for passion and also deals with some sufferings. It was throughly engaging, takes us to a visit to the beautiful Italy and the film has a soul in it. Long live the Italians and the Italian films.

So far I've watched, it's definitely a Top 3 film of the previous year. The reason to watch this film is because it's adapted from Murakami's book. I have felt his works through reading but rarely watched through films. This is the second time I'm watching his work through a film made by some ardent fanboy like me. Terrific Direction to be honest, the film had that Murakami-esque feel in it. Certain scenes were intended to be imprinted on my brain. Murakami stories always begins from someway through the middle and would be moving in a simple path initially but when you start to get along with the characters gradually, the story will get little complex and reveals some inner meanings flowing towards you. It's exactly that kind of film which depicts about a former Theatrical Actor directing a Theatrical Drama with a new crew which then unfolds a special connection with his lady driver and also follows about the sealed memories of his wife. Not only the film has great screenplay and characters but it also creates a fond feel towards the Red Car like the title suggests. This contemplate drama is subjective where one might get sinked into Murakami's abyss and love it or might get bored through the halfway too.

Your blood will boil and you probably might hate Benedict Cumberbatch's character as it starts growing because thats how good his performance is. A solid antagonist role done with perfection. The film deals with Hatred, Jealously and Hidden Sexuality through a western drama setup. It was absorbing but also had a little drag in the middle. The cinematography and the BG score were excellent. I wouldn't say that I liked this film much but it was a good one and notably worth watching for Cumberbatch's extra ordinary character arc.

Forming a special connection with someone we little knew after having a bad impression on them initially is great, isn't it? It's a very simple and linear story involving a woman Archaeologist travelling in a long distance train where she finds a weird and typical co-passenger of whom she develops a special bonding with him. Some cute little film to watch out for.

It's a little different concept made out of a typical MCU template but has been organized well. The Cinematography and CGI has been so beautiful. Have to appreciate that for being consistent all over the film. They have been started to experiment more and more in this Phase - IV and it's working out so far I guess. I like this one for being something little different out of the other MCU films.

The film was so beautiful as Audrey Hepburn with her short hair cut. It has many fun and comedy scenes right through the movie to keep us chill on a sunday noon. Loved it. Have to keep it a habit of watching a classic film here and there I feel.

Visual feast and shows us how the family pressure makes us into something which we don't like and eventually leads to destruction mentally. The film was so magical and at the same time, the message was delivered so real. Some scenes are there to make you cry as well. Beautiful film and special credits to the soundtracks.
