It's nice having a new farcry game, but this isn't a farcry game. It's more less an RPG with the farcry name. Looting everything you see seems like a necessity if you want good gun upgrades and it's tedious work, enemies appear as a red zone on the map so you dont fully know where they are, that is a cool feature until you get into a big gun fight and have no clue where anyone is because all you can see is the big red circles as you get shot from somewhere. There is no longer a skill tree so if you want to play it stealth you have to equip stealth gear sure that seems fine but now if you want extra protection against bullet damage you need to sacrafice a piece of gear wity another state for the better bullet damage. Which is an extremely sh!tty system, I like the idea of being able to equip a pair of boots and it gives a buff to stealth or crouch walking but I think that would've been better implemented along side an actual skill system so that certain perks are set in stone and you don't have to constantly switch out gear depending on the scenario you are in, that alone makes me rate rate game a 1 star out of 5. Ranking up in this game is seemingly pointless, once you reach a certain level there's no more supremos to unlock or gear to unlock so why even bother adding a level system? I don't know, I like playing the game it's a nice change from Montana but what they did mechanically to the game was terrible, after 6 months of being delayed I was expecting a grand showcase of a game similar to the likes of farcry 3 but no, hopefully they rework the game.
