being queer myself, i was excited to finally see myself be represented, along with the societal issues that come with it. however, this movie was incredibly disappointing to me. Don't trust the good reviews this movie has unbearably poor writing. Literally more than halfway through the film, there's no proper conflict which makes it seem aimless, the main two characters are somewhat likable but theyre pretty much stereotypes. The queer relationships are also surface level, with long boring montages instead of actual proper relationship development. The music is pretty forgettable too. Overall, this movie could've been good but I felt the writers had a huge disconnect from what they wanted to write and what they ended up writing. Go watch something else this movie is really bad.
