Liz Burkhart

An important viewpoint of the often-ignored body image and sensuality of teens, I found this movie incredibly moving and poingnant. It was spot-on in addressing the experience some young teen girls have in relating to their bodies and discovering how those bodies are perceived in the world. Especially striking was the contrast of the conservative value of being married off at the same age as these girls with the salacious image the Cuties cultivate.
