Very disappointed. It felt like a book written by five different people, cobbled together in a meaningless way. There was no flow from one chapter to the next, no cohesion in the whole story, with attempts at including historical bits and pieces basically lost in unnecessarily protracted and useless dialogue. Brianna suddenly gave birth? Was it mentioned anywhere in the book that she was pregnant or did I sleep through that part because the book was so boring? Every one of the books in this series has been spectacular so far and written in Gabaldon’s unique and riveting style. TELL THE BEES THAT I HAVE GONE is chaotic and pathetic. I am convinced that Diana Gabaldon did not write this book. I have totally lost interest in the series as a result.
