While not a perfect game, it is very much so an improvement from Midnight in Salem in terms of many things. I'm rating it 7/10 given my stance on the rest of the games as well. I enjoyed it and loved all the little things they included, like past game references, an abundance of puzzles, and a few changes to the typical Nancy Drew formula. Some of the more negative aspects include the useless NPCs who have no purpose (except for getting in their faces in free roam) and the bugs that many people have been encountering. For me, I only encountered one bug that was easily fixable, but for others it was nearly unplayable without direct help from HeR support. Basically, for me, it was enjoyable and I will probably play it again! Just check to see if your PC system is suitable for the game, as it's not the same as the games that came out pre-MID, and PC games as a whole can be a tad buggy.
