Visually graphic, intensely gory, and profoundly unsettling, this film is both difficult to watch and impossible to look away from. It has been a long time since I’ve encountered a horror movie that genuinely horrified me. The director’s artistic style is captivating, blending beauty with symbolic depth. While the pacing is deliberate, it builds anticipation effectively, keeping the viewer engaged. As the film progresses, the shock value and gore only intensify. Initially drawn to the film for Margaret Qualley, I was thoroughly impressed by both her performance and that of Demi Moore. This film is a jaw-dropping exploration of female self-hatred, embodied through horror. It’s certainly worth the watch.
