I read the first 57 pages. Nothing there to interest me. Then the last 30 before the 17 at the and yea. Boring. I love to read, but a made up famous stars life? The 2 main characters were shallow, both without character or interest. And the plot didn't exist. The denouement was her father aeas gay and his great love e was a man,, yet he stayed with his family because he didn't want to hurt them
Yawn.

Boring. Sadly boring. I quit on page 39. This is the 3rd series I've seen handed over to a family member, who just doesn't get it.
It'd so disappointing.

It's the best film I've seen in decades! Its extravagant and absolutely engaging. I laugh,ed so hard I got hoarse. And then towards the end, I teared up.
I so appreciated the dead honesty of it all. Not one moment of self pity intruded in the characters or the cinematography or the script. They all lived hard and some died. Towards the end of the film our heroine sings as she dances and twirls into the darkness getting
tinier and tinier till she vanishes in the shadows.

Rather boring. Only Max evolved as an interesting character, much more developed than the others. Diablo wasn't bad either. The rest were yawny and skin deep.
I'm not real interested in the backstage vaudeville descriptions, nor the magicians' acts, and much of the book revolves around them.
Im.guessing if you are so interested, you'll enjoy this book far more than I did.

I kept wanting to call out for the author. It was a disjointed improvisation.
Finally I don't care how good The actors are, and some were very good, you need a script.
