I thought the author was trying to force the connections to Austin in the beginning, but i like how the story unraveled itself there. I think I kept listening to this book because I thought the main character Hannah was interesting and relatable. I didn't like how the narrorator narrorated Hannah's voice, but the story was simple for me to listen to. I related to Hannah because I am a new stepmother of a teenager. I felt like i wouldn't have been so patient with the teen so i may have learned something (haha). I loved Hannah's love for wood carving and her back story about her grandfather's impression on her life, but being so talented and independent she sure uproots and changes her life very easily for this man she somehow doesn't know. I thought Hannah was giving Owen a little too much credit for being this great father and great loving partner too, but Hannah's character is loyal and loves her little family theyv'e created. Also why i like her so much. I didn't understand Owen's character that well. The story says he knew technology and how to erase his identity, but I can see why people are saying it sounds like it's written like a movie in the reviews. I have questions!
