My brian is still reeling from the absurdity of this book. I cant possibly take the time it would to write a comprehensive review, however my main complaint was the completely erratic behaviour each character displayed. A person suffering from OCD that presents itself in obsessive washing and application of lotion being okay to not shower for 4 days?! A regimented, detached intelligence officer practically begging on his knees for his wife to take him back (the same wife he admitted mere pages earlier he didn’t even love)?! That same calculated man making multiple irrational and ridiculous mistakes and choices throughout the whole book?! And the insane correlation to the Christs death that somehow was the guiding principle for the character’s unhinged yet predictable behaviour. Bottom line, don’t waste your time.
