This film was incredible. The detective based batman is something a lot of other live action films and TV shows have kind of ignored as a rule. After all, Batman is a detective aswell as vigilante. The film does remarkably well in representing how amazing this character is. The plot was amazing and the actors did incredible. The cinematography was a 10/10, the music was unbelievable. My only issue with this film, is two characters. One didn't show up enough, and the other showed up too much. The Riddler was portrayed as the main antagonist, however we barely see him and Batman interact. It definitely would've been cool to have a scene with the two in the same room, outside of Arkham Asylum. The character I feel presented themselves too much would have to be Catwoman. As she's introduced I was eager to see if she'd have her own small story in the mix with Batman. However, her story kind of overtook Batman's, for a while, I had forgotten The Riddler was the antagonist and was paying more attention to Catwomans end of the story. All said and done, this film is remarkable, but in my opinion, it's no Dark Knight. Bruce Wayne was a bit too dark and gothic for my liking, however it was cool to see him in a different perspective. I've awarded this film an extra star for one small, silly reason. Barry Kheogan. I won't explain, however if you've seen the film, I assume you understand what I'm talking about. I'm excited to see what they do with Barry's character and it was definitely the highlight of the film for me (as a massive fan of his character)
