This is one of the movies that, when I'm channel surfing and find this, I just stop. It's a real departure from Steve Martin's typical slapstick work, and Debra Winger's work is outstanding, as it always is. The rest of the cast adds greatly to the quality of this movie and the music stirs the soul. Superb. If you haven't seen it, find it. If you don't own it, buy it. You won't be sorry.
