Sorry, but Freeridge is no On the Block. OTB dealt with some serious issues but was generally a fun show with likable characters. The only likable characters on Freeridge are the characters carried over from OTB. These new kids say the most hateful things to each other, then justify it because of some past trauma. The characters on the receiving end of the nastiness just accept the justification and move on. I couldn’t imagine being friends with people who do nothing but attack with vicious insults all the time.
