Books like this are very helpful, especially now with scandal, after scandal of abuse, and sexual misbehavior, breaking forth in the news. It will challenge assumptions, and traditions, and may force uncomfortable confrontations, possibly ending relationships of many years. But this may be necessary for forward movement, and eventual healing, amidst a great deal of pain and anguish. It is not for the faint of heart. It may have to be read, and re-read, over and over again, over many years, to get over toxic relationships, and trauma, that was not fully recognized, that started early in life. But as far as tools needed for self help, when trust has been profoundly violated, this one is as good as it gets. Good Luck, and buy the book, it will not be easy reading, but strong medicine does not always taste sweet.
