You know it's mediocre when the fanfic is better than the show itself. The show was a boring and repetitive. Not to mention the constant sexualized violence and negative portrayal of women. Overall, the show needed a wakeup call to the 21st century. That being said, the horror elements were perfectly executed, and the lead roles are well-cast.
