Just watched Twisters at the cinema and feeling very disappointed. I'm a huge fan of the first movie, Twister, which came out in 1996 and I've been obsessed with tornadoes since I was a teenager in the 90s. But, Twisters was very mediocre imo. Didn't like any of the actors, the acting wasn't great, I thought the music choices were bad, the storyline was so weak and uninteresting and you didn't see much of the actual tornadoes. Not enough suspense or excitement. I was very bored and kept checking the time. Couldn't wait for it to be over.

I finally started watching this series and just have to first point out, it's not for kids. There's swearing and a bit of bloody gore. I feel engaged in the storyline to the point where I'm binge-watching it. I feel Gomez Addams was a mis-cast though. Raul Julia's Gomez was a much more powerful, passionate and dominant character, which unfortunately, Luis Guzman does not live up to. He seems weak and feeble and incomprehensible sometimes. There is also zero chemistry between him and CZJ. Conversely, I feel that Catherine Zeta Jones's Morticia is a bit too strong and aggressive, compared to Anjelica Houston's soft, gentil and unemotional portrayal, which I preferred. I love Christina Ricci's role. It completely suits her and I think it's a lovely touch that she's in the series. She will always be my favourite Wednesday Addams but Jenna Ortega does do a good job.
