This may be one of the best movies I have ever seen. No other fight in all of Cinema has had higher stakes. Flawless in design and execution, from the broad strokes to the minutia, from the smallest details like the flags to the entire formating of the film. This movie tells a story that is both authentic to the time and distressingly contemporary.
I saw that people are giving this film bad reviews because "it's woke" but it isn't, its just real, and challenges the sort of assumptions that people make about sexual violence and those who experience it.
Absolutely sublime from start to finish, changing and morphing as it goes, making what once seemed important seem inconsequential, to the point where the importance of the duel at end has such a deeper meaning than we could have predicated at the start.
