Amy Denney – Google

If I could give this show 10/5, I would. Having grown up with my father owning restaurants and my son keeping my father’s spirit alive by his love for the food industry and cooking, this show hits home. Having said that, you do not need to love the food service industry to fall in love with this show. I just finished watching Season 2, which was more flawless than Season 1….if that is even possible. The character studies and compassion I felt for all the characters in the show had me laughing one moment and crying the next and laugh/crying the next. The camera work, directing, and writing are fire!

Shows are no longer a joy to watch. AMC certainly didn’t hook me in. Now the producers manage to produce trash, trash, trash. This is a shining example. I don’t mind shows with a some risqué scenes. I love GOT and HOTD. Why not just produce a series without worrying about our political environment? What happened to entertainment for the sole purpose of, you know, entertaining. I’m not sure why I even lasted fifteen minutes. I turned it off after the first episode.
