This is a dragging show with lazy screenplay writer. Too many unnecessary scenes and brainless dialogues. I have to fast forward so many parts. I think this show only requires 10-12 episodes instead of 20. A good story was badly told by bad screenplay writings. What a waste of good actors. I think only first 2 episodes and the finale are good. I wouldn't recommend this show.

A Time Called You " is a remake of the acclaimed Taiwanese TV drama "Someday or One Day.(2019)" I watched "Someday or One Day" and loved that show. So, I was very excited about this remake. But man, what a great disappointment! This Korean remake fails to grab the core spirit of the storyline. It falls short in all aspects (background music, 90s setting inaccuracy, acting skills, mysterious but youthful vibe, deep meaning, and souls) compared to "Someday or One Day. " Even though the Koreans stayed 92% true to the original story, the 8% altered for the worse. The 1st ML's acting is significantly lacking. The Korean setting is ridiculously inaccurate season-wise (who wears summer uniforms in chill March?) History-wise (Blackboard becomes whiteboard? Who used whiteboard at school in the 90s?) Acting-wise (Taiwanese actors and actress did excellent acting that you can tell the characters apart quickly, while the Korean 1st ML doesn't perform well; it's hard to distinguish who is who in Korean adaption, so you get confused easily.) Korean remake becomes a typical K-drama formula. It turned a great and emotional script into a dull, boring, and meaningless show with a formulated ending. I strongly recommend viewers watch the original Taiwanese "Someday or One Day" TV series first. Only then will you understand why I give it 1 star. This remake is a great disappointment.
