This adaptation ran the gamut of emotions, was brilliant acted and it was a visually beautiful film. You had to pay attention as the movie went between flashbacks, real time and dreams-- it kept you on your toes. Bring the tissues because you're going to need them. I don't remember reading the book as a young girl, but I wish I had, what a story to enjoy no matter what age you are. Bravo, well done and this is good enough to purchase when available to add to a permanent collection.
