I am having trouble understanding the show, especially with re-designed species, and potential new ship flaws. Klingons don’t look Klingon, and detached ship components can get lost across the galaxy. My only option is to convince myself that like J.J. Abram’s “Kelvin Timeline”, this takes place in yet another universe. I would need confirmation on that before getting deeper into the plot line, otherwise there is too much “anomalies”, or holes in the Star Trek fandom.
