Packed a lot into the first episode. Definitely captured the gravity in those first scenes. Love the feel and style of the show. The music is perfect. It’s violent and quirky in all the right ways. The characters are great. I’ve read some bad reviews, but it feels like those people were too hung up on the details. Especially when they start trying to shame you for enjoying the show. Every person’s experience with the game is going to be different. So why should the show be handcuffed to such narrow parameters? Adaptation has to happen to make it relatable and current. I loved the storytelling aspect of the game and I think the show delivers on that too. And the Ghoul is just badass.
