This could have been one of the most epic series if only the revelation parts weren't so anti-climatic. The whole suspense and mystery revolving around the Gwangju who went missing for decades is not justified. I seriously can't stand the villain character. His arc is poorly written. I don't understand how his scheming works with the most powerful people of the nation when his arguments are so weak, it can seriously be answered by "so what? get lost!" Urgh. Even the acting was pathetic and forced, it's painful to watch. Other than that, the other characters, screenplay, cinematography, special effects, muscial score, ost is still worth the watch.

Urgh. This series is over hyped. Supposedly a remake of Meteor Garden, but this one is just tacky. Lee Min-Ho could very well be the only reason why I finished it. It was dragging. It was too long. I had to skip a lot of scenes which were one too many dull montage that were unecessary to the plot. The characters were unrelatable and the plot was superficial. A few years back, audiences would have no problem with certain issues like bullying and suicide but right now it just makes one angry. I can't stand Geum Jan Di. How can they put in a lot of effort in casting Goo Jun Pyo but not Geum Jan Di? Urgh. Major Cringe.
