This album is quantity over quality. Now that Taylor is in her mid-30s I’d expect that her music could and would evolve past teenage vibes and focusing solely on heartbreak (whether real or manufactured from her PR romances) and her incessant framing of herself as a victim in her romantic relationships. Her commitment to the same schtick has resulted in an album that’s content is as bloated, immature, and rambling as its title.
Billionaire Taylor has proven to be a disappointment. Record carbon emissions, regressive social stances and lackthereof while portraying herself as progressive, and always painting herself as a victim and deflecting personal responsibility. Bait and switching fans with multiple versions of the album is further proof of Taylor’s focus on maximizing profit at their expense so I expect the quantity over quality trend to continue. I just wonder how long til fans see Taylor clearly.
